Customer Appreciation Event 2011As a Client Appreciation Event Broadview Networks presents a fully catered evening for our clients that includes: a live screening of the Jets vs. Capitals game, personal appearance by veteran Winnipeg Jets players, a variety of prizes (including Jets tickets), sport simulator games, Wii Suites, billiards, bubble hockey and a poker competition!  Broadview a Gold Winner in the Best Channel Marketing InitiativeBroadview Networks was named a Gold winner in the Best Channel Marketing Initiative category for this year's CDN Channel Elite Awards. CDN's Channel Elite Awards recognizes IT Solution Providers for their innovation, leadership and commitment to creating value for their customers, and their achievements in improved sales or revenues, improved efficiency and customer service. This award honours the partner that created and executed a dynamic advertising, marketing campaign or event showcase in 2010. The winner had to present evidence that the partner has increased its visibility, respect or profitability in its community through the campaign or event. Broadview had to explain the process, strategy and thought leadership behind the marketing and event initiative, and the outcome of the campaign and event with measurements: return on investment figures, number of business leads generated, etc. in the award submission. Broadview Networks won Gold for their innovative and collaborative event that centered around a preview screening of TRON: Legacy in 3D and a presentation on the IBM product road map. The bronze, silver and gold winners accepted the awards at a gala evening event at the Paramount Conference & Event Venue on September 29, 2011. CDN’s Channel Elite Awards is more than just an award ceremony. It is designed to promote the business advantages that technology solutions can create and to recognize achievement in the channel. The gala attracts more than 200 solution providers across the country and truly is an opportunity to meet and network with some of the best resellers across the country. CDN reporters and camera people were on present at the gala to cover the event for the magazine and online portal. Coverage of the event will also be in national publications such as Computer World Canada and Direction informatique. These three publications serve more than 100,000 C-level IT executives and solution providers in English and French. As an added benefit, this year all qualified nominees will have their creative solution profiled on ITBusiness.ca, which reaches more than 145,000 Technical Decision Makers each month. Event Wrap-Up: KACE Lunch and LearnBroadview clients and prospects enjoyed a lunch and learn featuring Dell KACE appliance. Two events were held. One in Brandon, Manitoba at Remington's Seafood and Steakhouse. The other event was held at the Broadview Networks head office and was catered by Carbone Coal Fired Pizza. All attendees learnt how Broadview Networks and Dell KACE can provide an appliance-based approach to systems management, to save time for systems administration professionals, while saving money for their companies.
