Broadview Networks Earns Thirteenth Microsoft Competency

Broadview Networks announced on April 7, 2011 that it has achieved its thirteenth Microsoft Competency.

The achievement of this new competency is another example of Broadview’s commitment to providing customers with solutions that are built on proven, industry-standard technologies. All thirteen Microsoft Competencies provide a framework to deliver better solutions to clients in the areas that matter to them, such as core infrastructure and Microsoft licensing. Broadview has proven its commitment to Microsoft technologies and is well-positioned to meet customer needs well into the future.

Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a technology partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft-based technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that technology partners bring to the industry. Customer references close out the requirements for the competency designation and further qualify the company's ability to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Broadview specializes in Core Infrastructure and Microsoft Licensing solutions for a wide range of clients in Canada. Broadview can help reduce costs and maximize investments with Core Infrastructure Optimization. Core Infrastructure Optimization is a proven framework for evolving your IT infrastructure to become more agile, secure, and better-managed, while reducing overall IT costs and making better use of resources. The bottom line- IT becomes a stronger strategic asset to the business. Core Infrastructure Optimization addresses capabilities across many critical aspects of IT.

Broadview has a variety of licensing solutions to customize to the specific size and type of organization. When selecting the best licensing solution for your organization, Broadview recommends understanding the major factors associated with Volume Licensing policies and programs. Broadview specializes in the selection, implementation and support of Licensing to solve the needs of small, medium and enterprise sized businesses in Canada.

Broadview is a Microsoft Gold Competency Partner and holds competencies in:

Efficient Data Center

Broadview Networks Can Help You Build the Efficient Data Centre

With the Broadview Networks and Dell Efficient Enterprise vision, technology infrastructures are open, capable and affordable. Products and services for the data center are flexible and avoid locking your organization into using a single vendor or proprietary technologies that contribute to increased TCO and limit future choice. The Broadview and Dell vision also blend new technology with existing infrastructure, existing expertise and industry-standard approaches designed to drive down TCO and complexity.

We begin with a three-step approach to help your organization unlock enterprise efficiency and achieve significant returns on your IT investment. The first step on the journey is to optimize the existing data center infrastructure, with the goal of achieving uniformity and cutting costs. The next step is to simplify the technology infrastructure. Using pragmatic approaches such as virtualization and storage consolidation, your organization can consolidate or unify redundancies to help ensure that you are getting the most out of their data center resources. Rationalizing and reducing the number of applications also enhances the flexibility to easily remove and repurpose servers. The third step is to implement best practices that help reduce manual intervention and boost productivity, together with cloud-based delivery models that help reduce administrative burdens on IT staff and enhance application availability.

Four Pillars to Build the Efficient Data Center

Intelligent infrastructure

Deploys servers, networking and fabrics that are designed and purpose-built to help reduce acquisition and operating costs, with the goals of reducing the number and types of devices to manage, racking and cabling once.

Simplified infrastructure management

Includes technologies that enable IT staff to consolidate tools and pool resources, helping them to increase the operating efficiency of both new and existing infrastructures.

Streamlined application and workload management

Includes tools that allow rapid delivery of strategic IT services with the goals of enabling application developers to easily create images and self-provision their workload deployments, automating approval and deployment processes, and providing self-service cataloged services and chargebacks.

Dell Intelligent Data Management

Optimizes content storage through its life cycle by automatically placing it on the appropriate tier and storage type while optimizing storage for virtualized environments.
