Broadview Named a Finalist in the Best Green Solution Category - Tuesday, August 10, 2010 Broadview Networks has been named a finalist in the Best Green Solution category for this year’s CDN Channel Elite Awards.This award recognizes the solution that most effectively serves to reduce environmental impact. The winning solution will have effective ways of reducing energy consumption, the carbon footprint or the ecological impact of any business activity or function or, by design, the solution itself has demonstrably less negative impact on the environment than alternative solutions. The solution may also contribute to a customer(s) sustainability goals. As a finalist Broadview is invited to the gala evening event at the Paramount Conference & Event Venue on September 16, 2010. CDN’s Channel Elite Awards is more than just an award ceremony. It is designed to promote the business advantages that technology solutions can create and to recognize achievement in the channel. The gala attracts more than 200 solution providers across the country and truly is an opportunity to meet and network with some of the best resellers across the country. As a finalist Broadviews submission will be judged by a panel of experts who will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. All finalists will be mentioned during the gala presentations. CDN reporters and camera people will be on hand as well to cover the event for the magazine and online portal. Coverage of the event will also be in national publications such as Computer World Canada and Direction informatique. These three publications serve more than 100,000 C-level IT executives and solution providers in English and French. As an added benefit, this year all qualified nominees will have their creative solution profiled on ITBusiness.ca, which reaches more than 145,000 Technical Decision Makers each month.
