The Inside Product Sales Rep proactively recommends, quotes and initiates sales on a range of technical products. The position works closely with Broadview's Systems Consultants and Account Managers to provide the necessary product expertise and support in order sell products efficiently and accurately. This position requires a positive working relationship with vendors, suppliers, and clients and frequent interaction with these groups. Type of work will generally consist of; Low volume of prospecting; Low volume of customer meetings; A low to medium level of account management is with the majority of accounts owned by the outside Account Manager's; High volume of quote preparation.

The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of IT product sales experience.. Relevant experience will consist of; High level of inside sales experience selling IT Infrastructure Products including servers, desktops, printers, and backup solutions and licensing; Low level inside sales experience selling solutions; Moderate level of Vendor and Distributor knowledge. Experience in corporate IT product sales is preferred. Server and Desktop product knowledge is required. Technical training or industry certifications around IT infrastructure products is an asset. Sales experience with Microsoft licensing, VMWare, Storage, Backups, Dell and IBM a definite asset.

In addition the Inside Product Sals Rep II must have; Strong written & verbal communication skills; Excellent Customer Service capabilities; Effective time management; Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities; Ability to work independently toward assigned goal; Ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and persuade while maintaining a dynamic and professional demeanor and presence.
